The SCC welcomes a new club to the fold this year as Hangzhou Cricket Club joins the league in Division 2.

Hangzhou Cricket Club  has been around for over five years. The teams made up of cricketers of all abilities and nationalities, meld together to form, on occasion, a formidable unit. The club thrives on a great humanity and friendly atmosphere. They play friendly and competitive internal club games, visit Shanghai for matches, and welcome other club teams to their home ground for weekly games. Leopards Cricket Club (LCC) has announced that the LCC will play the coming season as China Zalmi.

Zeb Khan, LCC chief executive, confirmed that the club had received the recognition from Peshawar Zalmi (Pakistani professional franchise cricket team that plays in the Pakistan Super League). The DPR Hot Dogs defeated K2 CCC to claim the 2016 SCC League Division 1 title on Sunday. It is the club’s sixth title since the league was founded in 2004.

Pudong CC completed their improbable late season run by winning the SCC League Division 3 Championship over the Daredevils on Sunday. 

Daredevils B defeated Hot Dogs A to take home the 2016 SCC Twenty20 Tournament Championship.

The Leopards defeated the Dulwich Knights on Sunday to win their third Division 2 Championship.

Dulwich won the toss and elected to bowl. The Leopards posted 148 for 10, with Biplav Pokhrel chipping in a handy half century. Nathan Sasson was the pick of the Dulwich bowlers, picking up four wickets in his six overs of work. Continue reading “Leopards Win Third Division 2 Crown” →
