The Shanghai Cricket Club will hold the season’s first Dragons trial match this Sunday at 10 am at SRFC Near. It will be a 50 over match following Shanghai league rules.
A bus will leave from The Camel Sports Bar at 7:45 am going direct to the SRFC. Everyone is welcome to take the bus or go to the ground individually. Please arrive by 9 am at the ground.
The teams are picked with future Dragons matches in mind and take past Dragons performances, recent commitment to Dragons home and away fixtures, and SCC League performances into account in that order. Future selections will put more weight on performance in these matches than on league form, so the games must and will be a competitive challenge.
A second Dragons trial match will be held on Monday April 30th. There will also be a Pirates trial match that same weekend. Correspondence concerning that game will go out early next week.
