The historic Shanghai Cricket Club blazer has been brought back to life over the past season, and is now available to all club members.
The club is inviting all those interested in obtaining an SCC blazer to attend a fitting session on Saturday, September 7 at the Camel Puxi.
The design for the SCC blazer comes from a pre-1948 SCC blazer hanging in the C.C. Morris Cricket Library at Haverford College just outside Philadelphia, in the United States. The blazer belonged to H.H. Morris, an American cricketer who lived in Shanghai for some years at the beginning of the 20th Century.
If you would like a piece of Shanghai cricketing history, please email [email protected] to confirm your interest or attendance at the fitting on Saturday night.
