The Shanghai Cricket Club has named a 12 player Pirates squad for the upcoming Twenty20 match against Kowloon Cricket Club on August 25.

The squad will be skippered by Amogh Kasyap. Joining him are SCC regulars Jon Newton, Alex Cumming, Sameer Jolly, Mark Henwood, Bhaskhar Vadlamani, Manoj Zalpuri, Santosh Yadav and Pratik Gadecha. Pirates debutants Tim O’Connell, Jagath Srinake and Ross Candido round out the team.

“We’re looking forward to a friendly but spirited game of social cricket,” said Pirates skipper Amogh Kasyap. “Following what is sure to be a great night of socialising on Saturday, we intend to show KCC that we can play equally hard both on and off the field this weekend,” he added.

The SCC Pirates will play Kowloon CC in a Twenty20 friendly match at the Shanghai Rugby Football Club on Sunday, August 25, 2013. The match begins at 10:30 am and all are welcome to attend.
