Shanghai Cricket Club Secretary Bernie Hughes officially announced the 2012 SCC Executive Committee today following the Annual General Meeting in November and subsequent Executive Committee Meeting held earlier this month.

“The 2012 committee contains a blend of new faces and continuing Excom members, allowing both a level of continuity, plus fresh contributors and ideas, Hughes said.

Following voting at the SCC Annual General Meeting on November 26 and the Executive Committee meeting on December 10, the 2012 committee is:

• President: Oliver Austin (elected by the seven Excom members listed below at the Dec. 10 Excom meeting)
• Secretary: Bernie Hughes (elected by SCC members at the AGM)
• Treasurer: Dave Rosenthal (elected by SCC members at the AGM)
• Development Officer: John L’Epagniol (new position, elected by SCC members at the AGM)
• Bashers CC Club Representative: Tony Finocchiaro (elected by Bashers members)
• Daredevils CC Club Representative: Deepak Nautiyal (elected by Devils members)
• DRP Hot Dogs Club Representative: Mandar Sathe (elected by Hot Dogs members)
• Pudong Power Club Representative: Ram Deshpande (interim, pending election of new Pudong representative)

After the successful 2011 season, the new committee has already met to start early preparations for the 2012 season. We look forward to sharing more details on this early in the new year.
