The 2015 Cricket Season Has Arrived

The first fixtures of the 2015 SCC League Season were announced on Tuesday by League Director Kerstin Petersen, with all teams scheduled to see action in the month of March.

“We’re looking forward to another great year of cricket,” said SCC President Manoj Mehta. “We’re very excited to have Santa Fe on board as our primary sponsor again, as well as Nforce Sports who will be supporting the SCC Dragons and Pirates, and our new grounds provider, Wellington College International.”

“We are looking at having three rounds of competition in the regular league this year,” said the SCC’s scheduler JJ Lim. “And like last year, we are also planning on having a mid-summer Twenty20 tournament as well.”

Cricket kicks off on Saturday, March 14 with a friendly match between the defending Division 1 champion DPR Hot Dogs and an inter-squad SCC team. The league proper startsĀ on Sunday, March 15 with a Division 2 match between the Daredevils and Pudong, and a Division 3 match between Dulwich and the Hot Dogs.
